These fish are certainly amongst the most curious a hobbyist can keep. While some consider them ugly to a fault, others are fascinated with their unusual appearance and absolutely intriguing method of catching a meal. The most difficult aspect to keeping one is meeting their dietary needs—they require live food or to be fed with a feeding stick.
