Purpose of Role:

Work with seniors and project teams to create high-quality illustrated non-fiction titles within budget and schedule.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Help timely delivery and quality control of new print and digital products for global trade markets and custom and specials clients.
• Revise backlist products and update digital products as required.
• Respect, set down, and preserve the DK Way in every project as work progresses.
• Preserve brand values and actively control product quality.
• Develop budget and costs awareness.
• Develop workflow and schedule awareness.
• Respond flexibly to business change requirements.

Required skills:

• Computer literacy in design-related software – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Well versed with the features and usage of Mac OS.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent creative and visual sense.
• Excellent technical abilities.

Desired candidate profile:

• Qualification - Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Communication design, or Fine Arts.
• Experience - 2 to 5 years of experience in publishing (preferably in publishing/media).
