A week has passed since the earthquake struck and Nepal is struggling to pick up the pieces. The quake that left our neighbour devastated sent shockwaves throughout the entire region. We were all reminded of how fragile we are in the face of nature's fury. Stories of devastation and loss from Nepal are still pouring in. The death toll is shockingly high and so is the count of those injured. But, even through this dark time, the glimmer of hope and survival endures and the tough task of rebuilding goes on. It is a long road ahead for the mountain kingdom. Let's keep Nepal in our thoughts and prayers and be part of the ongoing relief effort. Every contribution and helpful gesture however small, will make a difference. Do whatever you can.
