About the author

Michael del Vecchio has been knitting for 5 years. He is co-Founder of MenKnit.net - the online resource for men who knit - and editor of the first two issues of the MenKnit.net quarterly zine. His first book, Knitting with Balls: A Hands on Guide to Knitting for the Modern Man, was released in October 2006 and his designs and writing
have appeared in Take Back The Knit (#2) and Not Tonight Dear, I'm Knitting , and various other magazines and publications. Michael teaches beginning knitting and intermediate techniques and designs out of his studio in Washington, D.C.
